Well, I guess the orginazations do need to be supported, so I can sort of see
why one would have to pay an entrance fee. (How much is it usually)? I don't
know. I guess it is the whole idea of having to pay to win something. Seems
contradictive, in a way!
But without corporate sponsorship. it makes sense. Haven't any big companies
come forward to sponsor weigh offs? Burpee? Parks? Sterns (Miracle Grow),
etc.?
