after you plant is about 60 days old, you should start getting flowers to
open about 10 to 18 feet out on the vine. For some it happens a little
later and for some it happens a little earlier. 70 days is no big deal but
there is a fine line where very late polination doesn't seem to work as
well. At least that is what I have experiences. To me, I think you problem
could be heat, it may be a bit late, and you may not be watering enough. My
guess, from experience in growing late in the season is the heat.
