George,
i saw thiodan in the Griffen Greenhouse supply catalog, it's says
thiodan is for tree borer. Is it basically the same difference between a
tree borer and a vine borer? I've seen a couple of sprays and stuff that
are listed for peach tree borer, would they be effective on the vine borer
as well?

Well,Andy...if you don't want to deal with the vine boreres ever again
then
you have two choices: Take up shuffleboard ,or move west of the Rockies
where
they got it REAL EASY w/o the borer(just figured I'd stir things up a
bit...take some pressure off Steve :)
Seriously-I've been bored again this year and Methoxychlor is now
discontinued in NY State.......What are the alternatives to shuffleboard
?............Glenn A.

Thiodan is listed for Squash Vine Borer & Squash Bug. Can you get that?
