I'm Back! Washington non-update

Got in yesterday after two weeks visiting relatives in Ohio and then
turning around and heading to Southern California to attend a conference.
I'm sorry I missed the Ohio Valley growers picnic and patch tour. I would
have loved to do it but there were family activities scheduled that I was
obligated to participate in. I'ts not often I can get together with my
parents and sibs and all their progeny. Last Tuesday I went to the patch
after flying in through a thunderstorm. I had a few hours before it got too
dark to see to try and prune vines and remove aborted fruit. Naturally the
first ones pollinated were in that group. I had no time to take
measurements on what remained. Boy the weeds grow fast when you are away.
I haven't been back to the patch since. I'll try to get out there tonight
and see what I have. There were heavy thunderstorms with hail in the area
over a period of several days when I was away so I'm keeping my fingers
crossed that no damage was done. Did I miss anything? I'll have a real
update by the end of the week after I've put a few hours into the patch.
