I have 3 pumpkins whose growth has stopped. The heaviest is about 200 lbs.
They are deep orange and
ribbed. How long can they be left on the vine.? They matured early with all
of the heat in July.
A second plant with creamy-colored pumkins is still showing signs of growth.
I would like to leave all of these on as long as possible. Any suggestions
would be welcome.
In thelast week or so, the weather has turned to below normal temps and
frequent sprinkles. Not enough rain to break the long drought. Just enough
to keep everything damp.
