First year fertilizer regimen

This is my first year growing AG's (started as a project for my 9 year old
son) in Hood River, OR.. We started off unseasonably cool in June so off to
a slow start, now really starting to take off. I'm having to terminate
vines as they head out into the street.

I'm using Miracle Gro at 2 tsp/gal, leaf feeding about 8 - 10 gallons per
day. About every third day early on I went to Alaskan fish fertilizer,
about 1/2 cup per 2 gallons. Now, about two weeks after setting fruit I'm
using Alaskan Bloom (higher K). Sometimes mixing the Alaskan mixtures with
1/2 strength Miracle Grow in a smelly cocktail.

About every third day I water briefly, about once a week water until I just
get standing water so flush out salts from the Miracle Gro.

I always add 1/2 tsp of dishwashing soap to the leaf spray which acts as a
surfactant and results in the leaves being much better "wetted".

No signs of any distress.

One of the neighborhood boys soaked my son with a water pistol. My son, in
turn, grabbed the fish emulsion sprayer..... you can imagine the rest.
