RE: Puzzle

Hi Wayne...

I've had the same problem with my earliest pumpkin - a Failor 550. I 
pollinated on 7/10 and it went great guns. Now I doubt it will break my 193 
from last year. Hmmmf!
I attribute it to the heat....the lack of rain even though I water 
regularly. Also, this plant has lost a fair number of leaves (more than 
last year this time...but this is only my second year...) and has some 
yellowing leaves.
I had an a-frame shade over the plant that I removed yesterday in the hope 
of boosting the growth again. I fertilize every two weeks with Miracle 
grow.

I wonder what other theories there might be!

a breather.........never had this happen before..........tail off
.......yes........no signs of anything wrong.......looks perfectly
normal.........made a good growth spurt day before stopping........then
nothing..........any ideas.........plant looks very
