Re: Where to get Lifting Tarps And NEPG picnic!

Ken and list,
As Bart stated I have indeed gone into the pumpkin lifting tarp
business.
They come in one size that will lift over 1,000 pounds, like all of us are
growing!! The material is different from all other known tarps to me
currently on the market. I contacted a manufacture of tarps for the US
military and had these tarps made from the same material that they use to
make covers for our US Army tanks! They wash clean easier and are lighter
than all other tarps known to me. I showed a common brand tarp to this
manufacture and he stated the material was rated at about 250 lb. a square
inch. The material I had these Tarps made from is rated at 1000 lb. per
square inch, and cannot be ripped even if a hole is punctured in it. The
best news is I'm selling them cheaper at only 69 dollars. They come in one
color "Desert Sand." I have them already made and can ship them immediately.
Please E-mail me privately if you would like to order one.
For those that attended the successful and heavily attended NEPG picnic
this past Sat. this was the same tarp that was used to unload my pumpkin.

A final note on the NEPG picnic, George and Mary Ann Hoomis are wonderful
people and did a great job hosting the picnic. The food was great, although I
felt bad for the 3 home grown Turkeys that made up part of our lunch! You can
be sure we'll see them at Topsfield this year as they have a couple of
monsters growing! Thank You from all of us who attended for making it a
pleasant day for all.
  Alan R.
