My two one ton cross plants have produced one pumpkin each. One has
stopped growing at 140 pounds the other pollinated in late July is putting on
about 7 pounds a day and is currently at 123 pounds. The big suprise is
that one of my three Prizewinner pumpkin plants has one pumpkin that is at 166
pounds. All my plants were grown using the same method, soil, water,
fertilizer, Miracle Grow ect. ect.. I am disappointed in my first year growing
AG's but thrilled with the size of my Prizewinner plant. I hope the
AG that is still growing will top my Prizewinner, I would really like to break
the 200 pound mark in my first year. I'm looking forward to next year when
I hope to get some more proven, first generation seeds from a large 1999 season
pumpkin. I think it is great that all of you are so generous with your
seeds and advice. Thank You.
