Paul,

I don't know how it will be in Michigan, 
but I brought one from Vermont to 
Lennoxville, Quebec one time and the 
only problem was everyone at the 
customs office wanted to see it and 
tried to guess how much it weighed. 

We didn't have any problem coming
back across with it either.  

Good luck, and let us know if they try 
to confiscate it.
