<< Wayne,
I amin the same boat you are. I have had growths of 3-5 inches over a
period of 2 weeks, until this week, which I would get .5 inches in a night,
then next night I had 3.. Following night, 0", followed by 2 inches.. I am
not sure, but I have noticed a considerable amount of catelouping in the
past week on the CIliberto697 plant. Doesnt look like I am going to have a
monster this year, but I will have a great bunch fo seeds! The measurements
on this pumpkin as of tonite is 121-72-72=265"OTT...... EST WEIGHT- 388 up
 to 422 lbs.

Hi Rock, Wayne
Hope that boat is big enough for three. Mine is doing almost the same in
regards to growth but have not had any days with zero.
After measuring this evening, i was counting days remaining and calculating
what 7-10 pounds per day would give me in 45 days. If it keeps plodding along
without stopping I'll have a decent pumpkin but no monster. I'm also starting
to see netting within the last week.
Rocky, the last time we compared measurements they were almost identicle. The
trend is continuing. My measurements today for the 697 were 122-70-70.5=262.5
est. weight=377lb. as compared to yours at
121-72-72= 265
