Hanging Pumpkin Photos

While we were away on vacation, (sure sign of a rookie) one of our Ferry
Morse "Big Max" pumpkin vines climbed the wall behind our small, urban
garden. Fruit started to set in early July, so we went with it--I devised
a sling to support the pumpkin, and it's now 55 inches around--only 7
inches smaller than the largest in the patch. The interresting part is
that it's growing nearly perfectly round. Unfortunately, it's severely
blemished because the local squirells used it as a convenient launch pad
during the sunflower feeding frenzy earlier this year.
