I have recently had a stem split this year and I know that I want to dry
it out. I of course used a fungicide that I made into a paste. My
fungicide is copper sulfate. It is blue. My stem split is right where the
stem goes into the pumpkin, and the split is about 2 inches deep into the
flesh. As the pumpkin grows the split opens a little more. I am not
worried about rot but I have used the fungicide like putty to keep the whole
filled. Could this cause the pumpkin to change to a bluish green in spots?
That is the color a lot of my skin is turning on the pumpkin.
