The intense and unusually hot summer has cut short the lives of many local
pumpkins and squash.I can speak from my own experience ...I have pumpkins at
60 days that are just about done.They have colored up,ribbed
up,cantelouped,and slowed to a crawl...they should be gaining steadily these
days but mother nature has put the wammie on them. Marshfield Mass was a
couple weeks too early for me...but Oct 2 is a FEW weeks too late.Looking for
something inbetween....anyone know of any on the East coast or Mid Atlantic
areas?
