John,
We just can not take for granted the significance ( a wheel fruit) played
years ago in our evolution. Plants have continued to help us along the
way over and over. But most important Does this wheel spark any ideas in
your head??..........are there four on the plant?? Now I consider my 946
a high wheel........tractor tire and yes its sucked in at the blossom end
.....i would like to conclude that most wheels get sucked in ....but as
usual its not a given................ARE wheels typically heavy to.,,,,the
charts??........still a guess and not proven......the one thing i have
noticed is you don't find dill rings,( sag rings)..........I prefer to use
sag ring as i agreed along time ago with someone that
mentioned.........having your name connected with a negative factor of the
fruit was lame at best.......I agreed and call them sag rings...ever
since......but for the new and young and to be Politically correct....sag
ring, rings just fine. But no sag rings is a plus as that is usually where
you get a hole............but wheels are Not out of the danger zone as
blossom end probs prevail.........So do you try and avoid wheels early
on.......depends how they compare to the other fruit.....growth wise......i
myself like them!!...I consider Mettlers ....974 a wheel...............hell
Larue 915 was a wheel or a pancake.........whats fun is and not recommended
for world rcords but get the fruit to lie flat on its blossom end an get
the main to go up over!!! dangerous and shouldn't done at home
alone!!!.....john your wheel sound marginal do you have a better fruit on
the plant??...growing faster??............Brock
