Kevin,
Sometimes you just get these "lines" usually on deeply ribbed ones.
My biggest from last year had them at every rib crease, nothing happened.
Just keep your eye one it. I'm not sure what you can do about it if it
starts to happen anyway. Good luck
scott
Group,
I'm worried that I may have spotted the beginning of a rib split - I'll try
an describe what I have - it looks like someone has taken a pen a drawn a
thin line in the valley of the deepest rib - at this time it is superficial
- does this sound like the beginning of a rib split - if so what if
anything
can be done - at current growth rates I'll be at 500 pounds in 3 days - I'm
willing to take drastic measures to prevent the split - ideally I'd like to
get it to 500 pounds and to an October weighoff intact. Any advice from
those experienced with rib splits would be appreciated...
Thanks in advance
Kevin
