I have not been a subscriber long . I have how ever been reading the
archives for two years . in this time I have learned much .I have not grown
the great pumpkin in my yard is to small and shaded with large trees close
by. this is why I have done unconventional things. like grafting. with out
the risk of loosing a big one I had fun with this. I have been keeping
this quiet for a year . thinking it might help me alone. and also because.
others may try with out success and damage their plant. if I have offended
any one with my proven and unproven theories I apologize. this was not my
intent. I am not a micro biologist but I value people who are . and the
people who are not I value as much I have a suspicion that Harold has
learned much from you people as well .This place is a valuable resource but
should always remain a place of friendship or pumpkinship first. This will
be my last long transmission as I know the email is overwelming. my hope is
that some of you will consider staying .and others will be back soon. from
