Kuhns disease

Basicallly it looks like the leave has burnt in one section. The next couple 
of days it turns blackish/brown and drys up the leave.  The stem turns brown 
where it meets the leave.  This process continues throughout the plant.  
Every time I get this my pumpkins slow down and this year stopped.
