I have a couple of questions that fall into the just wondering category,
The first is has anyone noticed any correlation between the size of the female
pumpkin embryo and final size? I am finally getting to pollinate some pumpkins
and some of the baby females are marble size and some are as big as a jumbo
egg and I was just wondering if this follows thru the growing process. (yea
it's late, thats just another sad story from washington,but I'm just trying
to get something for the kids to carve)
Dr Eddelman (please pardon me if I mispelled) how long does it take for the
reaction of "pollination" to occur after pollen contacts the female pumpkin
flower?
