Oh!!!!! O.K.! I kind of figured more of this out after reading the "Womper"
thread, which I have not been following! And your note was the first with
"1033" in the title, and then the link to the genetics tree, and....well I
thought I was going crazy! A couple of people have also written me saying
that they read my post as being rude, let me clear that up, it was NOT meant
to be rude in any way! I was simply confused at what was going on. I mean a
1033 pounder in AUGUST is a bit of news, well, probably the biggest news in
the HISTORY OF A.G. growing! And the fact this seemed to be posted out of the
blue with no previous mention (well none that I saw until later!)....well
come on, it is only natural to get a little hyper!
I also didn't know that the pumpkin split, and that the weight was estimated,
etc. I feel so bad for Larry. Yet, that is a GREAT accomplishment, definitely
the biggest pumpkin ever grown this fast, the first over 1000 pounds in
AUGUST! That is something to be proud of, (to say the least!) and is history
making!
