Personally, I would have posters printed up, and those little Christmas cards
with a big picture of it to send out to everyone. I don't care if it was a
pile of mush, get me the camera! Ha ha!
Actually, if I grew a world record, like Gary last year, I don't know if I
would really want all of the attention. I know some people who are sort of in
the "spotlight" a lot, and they CAN'T really get away from it, and get
paranoid after awhile. I was in the local paper once, and everywhere I went
for over a YEAR people kept pointing at me and asking me "Hey! Were you the
kid in the paper....". It is kind of neat at first, but after awhile it is a
bit weird with total strangers recognizing you everywhere you go. I wonder
how much of that Gary gets, being in the national media. I can only guess!
Hey, but I would take the prize money, though!
