Seed characteristics question
Hi All...question.what do you call the clear film that falls off a seed once
its dried?I've noticed that my mid and late season squash cull seeds do not
have this film.I noticed that the seeds I planted to get this fruit did not
have this film either.Is this typical of a white seed?is this typical of a
squash seed?Is this just typical of an immature seed?
As far as a seed being matured.....is the film a late maturation item? I
guess I'll be doing some germination trials this winter!...thanks for any
