Has anyone experimented with electric heating coils to keep
the soil temperature at a constant rate? I have heard that many
people use coils early in the season and when the weather is cold, however I
wonder what would happen if the soil was kept at a minimum temperature of 75 or
80 degrees throughout the growing season?
What is the best soil temperature for growing the giants, and how much
help would it be to the plant if this temperature was maintained for the entire
season? The power bill could be expensive, but it may be worth
it.
Your comments are appreciated.
