Pumpkin vs Squash
Nic...I had a look at your photos and that was definitely a pumpkin.
Al Eaton says that the base colour which shows in the valleys between
the segments is the best indicator of whether it is orange or green.
The greenish cantalouping occurs on many fruit but it should not
disqualify it as a pumpkin. Jim Ives in Picton, Ontario
