Dear Pumpkin growers
We are a few people in Denmark (Europe) who are trying to
introduce the fun of growing giant pumpkins. In spite the interest, it is
impossible to buy some good seeds (with a genetic potential) and have to deal
with what you can buy in gardening companies etc.
The outcome has so far been poor. The largest pumpkin we have
grown the last two years have been less than 100 pounds!
As I myself is a biologist -and head of a fish breeding
station (for Trout) in Denmark I know the importance of genetic
selection and breeding and differences in good and poor breeding material
for growth factors .
-Therefore If you possess some high quality seeds from some large
(exhibition) pumpkins, we would be very interested if you could send us a
few.
We are about to pay a fair price.
