I have been tradidionally taking a tissue test the end of July or very
first of August.  Idealy, I should take tests earlier, and later.  If I
had the money I would test every month from the begging.  I think the
tissue tests help me out a lot.  They let me know how my overall fertility
plan is working.  I can compare how much the plants are taking up compared
to how the soil levels were.  Also, it gives me the oportunity to correct
problems with liquid fertilizers.  Anyone else out there doing tissue tests?
