The seeds arrived a couple of days ago.Many thanks for them. Love
the little pix and their portfolio.I do think each seed is pollinated
seperatly as each seed is attached to the fruit by a small thread(umbilical
cord) which runs through to the blossom end.Only one grain of pollen is
needed to pollinate each seed.If it does not get any pollen on it's little
umbilical cord then that seed will not be viable and will not fill out.Each
grain on pollen from the male will be slightly different so each seed will
have carataristics unique to itself, which is why all pumpkins look like
pumpkins but are not identical to each other.
