Larger Pumpkins

You need to consider using colchicine.  Using it I get 300lb fruit. Nic Welty grew my untreated seed in 1999 and got 150lbs out of it.  That is normal for store bought seed.  In talking with Harold I have been treating everything except the reproductive areas. This is good.  Bigger Fruit!  You will still be able to breed with other pumpkins.  You need good seeds, with good germination.  They need to be soaked between 36-60hrs.
