Re: Growing them big in Europe...?

What I am after ????....:-))

Just some general growing experiences from Europeans.

For instance, what is the weather like where you live ??
What do you use for soil preparation ??
When do you put your seedlings outside ??

Over here, we got what we call "Belgian summers".
Temperatures between 17 and 25° C during the day,
Now and then a real "heatwave", with up to 32° C and more,
but never for a  long time. Mostly our summers have lots of rain too.

The chance for really warm weather is from the beginning of May,
until the end of September.

I am posting this to the entire list also, because I would like to get
some comments from growers who live as NORTH as we do...
CANADIANS, what are your general growing conditions ??

Thanks in advance and MERRY CHRISTMAS from Belgium !!!!
