just till that stuff in it's hard to have to much organic material in
your soil i've got 10 yards of rotted manure in my patch for next year
check your ph mine dropped from 6.7 to 5.8 after we added the manure the
farmer uses sawdust as bedding also nitrogen was low our local farm
agent had us add just a little to help get the winter rye giong my 2
cents deb
