This will seem like locking the barn after the horse is gone, but maybe
you could follow a suggestion sent me by the list when grade-school-age
varmints got into my patch and played leap-frog among the vines. Place
homework assignments at strategic places around the office, along with
such snacks as green beans and oat bran muffins. The kid will soon find
other places to play.
