Gary,
I don't know what the record books list as
the l-o-n-g-e-s-t pumpkin but I have never
seen anything longer than the 754 Glasier
that Pete grew on his 940 Mombert '00
plant this year. The announcer at the scale
at Half Moon Bay said they measured it
at 5 feet long.
I don't know how wide the 1230 Daletas and
the 1167 Handy measured but I understand
they were wide to the extreme. I saw the
1167 in Paul's patch when it was "only" 900 lbs.
and it was quite wide even then.
As far as height goes......the Hester 1028 was
way tall......Brett can probably give you that
measurement.

Hi everyone, I need to know the absolute largest pumpkin grown. I'm not talking weight, I'm talking height, width, and length. It would be nice if anyone that has grown a really large, odd shaped pumpkin could let me know the dimensions of it. I'm thinking about making a box-type trailer to transport my pumpkins to the weigh-offs and I do not want to make a super large and heavy trailer, but I need it big enough to hold any size pumpkin that I might grow.
Thanks,
Gary Faulk
