When I heard about Barb and saw what was being done for her I was
overwhelmed with pride that I was among such great people as you all. I
wrote to the Associated press and told them about Barb when I came home from
lunch this is what I found. I wrote this lady back and I think it would be
great if everyone would respond to her letter. I am proud to be a friend to
this list and to so many on it

Mr. Houser:
One of my editors passed on an e-mail you had written recently about
Barb Kincaid and the pumpkin community supporting her family. I was
trying to get more details to see if there might be a story there _ how
many people have been involved and from where, what exactly is being
done beyond writing letters, how much money has been raised, etc.
I sent an e-mail to Mr. Rockwell but didn't receive an answer.
If you can fill me in on any of the details, I'd appreciate it.
