Kuhn Seed
If you really want a Kuhn 712, try writing him. He is very generous with his
seeds and sent me some when I wrote him and sent a SASE. I don't have his
address but it is in one of the newsletters. It may get more difficult to get
good seeds or maybe easier in the future if you want to pay. Howard Dill
appears to be buying seeds from big pumpkins and then selling them on his web
site. I have no problem with this but as I see the prize money growing and
these "privately grown" seeds being sold on the internet I am getting
concerned that it is all becoming too commercial. Where will we be in ten
years? Also I wonder if there are enough growers out there willing to buy
these seeds such that it will really be a profitable venture for those
selling. Not my problem. My problem is how to grow a bigger pumpkin.
