About pumpkin growing in Germany....
Thanks for all the replies you all sent me.
If any of you think that I do this for the prize money in Germany
you are dead wrong. I like to say "They'll get my pumpkin when
they pry it out of my cold dead hands!...ha ha!"
I love to grow the pumpkins and I love the commaraderie of the
sport and all the friendships I have made.
Shit, I wouldn't have anything to brag or talk about if it wasn't
for my pumpkin growing.
All I am saying is that the pumpkin growers here should also have
prize money to win like everywhere else. It's just a matter of getting
the growers together with large firms here who want to advertise
so that everybody wins. I'm just trying to facilitate and organize the
matter like
many people such as Ray Waterman of the WPC has done in the US.
