I have asked the guys at our
water works and they told me that if you let city water sit the chlorine
will evaporate out of the water, they say people worry to much about it and if
they are worried then just set a gallon of water in the fridge uncovered (no
top).in a couple of hours no more chlorine.
So if you fill water tanks (55
gal drums or what ever) let them sit for a day before using the water there will
be no chlorine in it when you water your plants and it will also be warm water
not cold and now we have less shock to the plant and less
stress.
