I,ve always let my water run through a filter, then it sits in 40 gal drums all day to de-chlorine & warm up. And then in the evening I open the valves up & run the water through soaker hoses. The year I started this there was a noticable difference in my plants...........Paul

This is true.  I have talked to my soil specialist about this a couple of times.  He mentions that even water run through misters will allow most of the chlorine to evaporate before it hits the plant.  How can I argue with the guy?  He helped me grow my personal best last year.
