2002 Champion Weight Contest

Hey Everybody,
I have been quiet for quite some time, but all this talk about California's first 1000 pounder contest has got me thinking.  Why not start a contest for the weight of the 2002 world champion.  Not just for the GPC, but for the largest official FRUIT (pumpkin or squash) officially weighed in at a credited weighoff site.  Rules should be that a guess must be to the nearest tenth of a pound.  No two guesses can be the same, one guess per person.  A guess can be changed up to May 1st. 2002, with a one dollar entry fee( or no entry fee)

The prize, well, I say a combination of goodies, entry fee(?), seeds.  What ever people are willing to sponser.

Would there be any interest in this?
