Just one small correction the secret Santa was for Christmas cards and seeds
but most of all fellowship. It was to bad not everyone fallowed up on there
end of the thing and next year if anyone is still interested I have a new
plan that will be fail safe. It's time to let it go Kathie love thy neighbor
and all that. I have to take all the responsibility of the failure of the
Secret Santa on my shoulders as I should have keep better track of my paper
work

Vince and Brett,
Since we don't all know each other, there may be some reluctance to
sending cash. Who will hold it, etc? Look how many growers got stiffed
on Dennis's otherwise wonderful Secret Santa event, and that was for
nothing more than seeds. But if you can work out the details, it's a
great idea. Vince, did you receive any complaints when your 2001 contest
ended?
Don't forget, both of you, we're looking for entries into the contest as
to which CA grower will first officially weigh a thousand pounder. No
entry fee. Make your guess to the list, please, and include an estimated
weight, to be used as tiebreaker.
Deb Sundstrom is the judge, and judge's decisions are final except when
she changes her mind about something (woman's prerogative).
The prize is, we think, we hope, the thousand-pound AG grower will send
seeds to the winner. If not, Deb's gonna send cheesecake through the
mail.
