RE: corpse plant seeds WHY?
Reminds me of Invasion of the Body Snatchers flower pods. What does this
flower have to do with a pumpkin list? I'll stick with Datura--they bloom
nearly daily, are unusual, put out lots of seeds and often reseed
themselves, and they are listed on more than one website as a companion
plant for pumpkins to improve a pumpkin's growth & vigor.

All of this kind of reminds me of an episode of
Magnum P.I., where Higgins tries desperately to
get a flower to bloom in a photographic darkroom.
Later, Magnum mows them down with the weedwacker.
