Growing Strategies For Next Year

Next season I plan on using CO2 enhancement, compost tea, and larger cloches to help grow giant pumpkins. The 2004 Old Farmers Almanac states that the area Im growing in is going to be both colder and wetter next year. CO2 enhancement really helps to get the plants off to a great start. Compost tea is kind of like a liquid compost that is either foliar applied or used as a soil drench. Hey! Just try foliar applying some solid compost sometime! Compost tea is compost that can be sprayed all over the leaves! And the larger cloches will work hand in hand with the CO2 enhancement and the compost tea to help create a favorable climate and or conditions for growing large pumpkins.

Anyone else care to share some of his or her growing strategies for next year?
