Re: seeds on ebay
I understand people's concern on this... and you're right to express
a little outrage, dismay, disbelief, maybe a chuckle or two at the
price people will pay for seed, (while probably not doing anything
to improve their soil...)
But I really have faith in the vast majority of growers in this hobby. Our
model of seed distribution will not be lost. It's the only model that
really makes sense. You don't get proven seed without first getting
people to grow them. At the same time, each of us produces 500
or so seeds from each one we plant, on the average.
This actually isn't the first time this has happened, and it likely
won't be the last. Meanwhile 98% of growers will continue to get
seeds through traditional methods, and the sport/hobby will
continue to thrive.
