Re: seeds on ebay
Folks,
I'm new to this list, this hobby/sport, and have yet to grow my 1st giant pumpkin. But I have been so impressed at the amazing outpouring of friendliness, helpfulness, and openness that I've seen from the folks on this list. People who don't even know me offering seeds and advice on how to grow them, forwarding pictures of pumpkins and patches, and just generally acting really nice. While home for Thanksgiving I even made an unannounced visit to the nearby home of two record setting growers whom I'd never met or even talked to. I was welcomed right in and talked pumpkin stuff for awhile.
So please don't let a few greedy, thoughtless people spoil what you've got. It's really something special in this day and time. Since the Good Book says to bless those who take advantage of you, I guess we should all be forgiving to the folks(s) who are selling these seeds. But I'll also be praying that the Master Grower deal with it as only He can do.
