Re: pumpkins DIGEST V1 #179

I guess winter has arrived, the season of bickering. It is getting very cold
here in Pennsylvania, Home of Moonie, the first pumpkin over 1100 pounds
grown by Gerry Checkon. This coming season we may see the 1500 pound record go
by the wayside as predicted by Ray Waterman. Maybe it will be from Al Eaton's
or Jack LaRue's seed? That would be nice. What would be nicer to me would be
if I grew it. Happy Holidays to all. Keep the posts coming. Warm things up a
little. Keep in mind, "If Winter is here, can Spring be far away? Great line
for the poetry contest don't you think? Its free if you want to use it.
