Sir you are correct. I'm planning to go overboard with protection since I've
had three seasons ruined because of them. I'm in city limits so I can't use
a rifle. I live trap them when I can. I will plan on putting 1/4-1/2"
particle or plywood entirely around my 38 x 45' patch. If my electric fence
shorts out for only an hour they try to get through. When it's on they
usually stay away. I have serious deer problems too. Thanks for your post.
