RE: pumpkins DIGEST V1 #441

Farmer John and I have just read the poems from this year.  What a great
selection.  I hope we were not the only ones to shed a tear with Peter
Dudley's "Grandpa's Stuff". What a sweet sentiment all of us giant pumpkin
growers (we are still little growers) can take to heart.  It has been a
great pumpkin year in so many ways, and we thank all of you who have helped
us so very much this year.  Here's to Happy Holidays and the promise of
another good year in 2006 to all.

Well, its been quite a while since I have had a chance to write to all

you. For those of you interested I have seeds out of my 789 Smith*
Third largest 
Squash in California available if anyone is interested. The cross is
962  
Sherwood* X 703 Smith* it was a Giant true Wagon Wheel and was nice and
green
