RE: Christmas Gift Suggestion (UNCLASSIFIED)

I asked Santa for a new truck to haul my giant pumpkin to the fair! I
haven't been very good lately , so we shall see. Freeezer full of vennison
and high octane-nog in the fridge.
Merry Christmas to all of you! Talk again in the Spring. I am going into a
deep torpor for now.

Asparagus beans are also known as yard long beans, its a bean of the vigna
genus it has nice purple flowers and grows beans up to 3 foot long. They are
popular in stir fry as well as cut like regular green beans. They taste
about the same. The plant is a pole bean type with vines that will run about
6 or so foot tall and the long beans hang downward. Easy to grow and best
planted when the soil is rather warm just like any bean. Hope this helps.

Subject: Christmas Gift Suggestion

Hi, Guys!

Last month I read a wonderful book called Giant Tomatoes, by our very own
pumpkineer Dr. Marv Meisner.

This suggestion is entirely unsolicited:

If you need a last-minute gift suggestion for almost any gardener, call or
write Don Langevin. Yes, the same guy who sold you your pumpkin growing
books. Tell him to send you Giant Tomatoes. Your loved ones will love you.

For myself, I'd like to thank Dean Busquaert of Napa for having recommended
the book. Merry Christmas, Dean!

And a BIG thanks to Marv Meisner for having made such a wealth of
information so understandable. Merry Christmas, Dr. Marv!

Merry Christmas to everyone on the list (and especially to Deb and Randy
- we owe you a Christmas card, thank you card, and who knows what else)!

May Christmas joy rain down upon you all, and peace on earth!
