Mark, we got to get you some good seeds to start out with. If you ask,
members of this list will give you seeds. Wisconsin Giant Pumpkin
Growers(http://www.cwpg.org) is also a good source of seeds and support. If
you want to grow pumpkins in the 100-200 lbs range, a seed catalog will help
you. But if you want to grow the BIG ones, you have to get seeds from BIG
pumpkins. I've been there, done that, and now I belong to the Vermont Giant
Vegetable Growers Association, which, for a small membership fee, gives me
seeds and support to grow the big ones. Welcome on board, and get ready to
grow a GIANT pumpkin next year. Steve M.

Hi ,I'm new to the list and live in SW Wisconsin.I have tried to grow giant
pumpkins the last 2 years and the biggest one was 65 lbs.I bought the seeds
from a seed catalog and think that was my first mistake.
Thanks , Mark
