1) It helps. I you're just beginning to just do 2 plants, trust me. Cross pollination with certain genetics causes a super cross or gives a genetic boost, often very different genes (different genetic background crossing or coming together give a vital boost to
genetics, and presto a Record pumpkin.2) Most Record-holders are going totally organic in feeding, except for some Potassium Sulfate "Organic"?? Use Molasses in the soil, Soluble Kelp, Fish emulsion, Chelated calcium. Spray it on both sides of the leaf once a week and you'll be doing well. Big Advantages. Look into LandOGiants.com for spray schedule.
3) Yes, look on BP.com for weigh-off sites for Ontario, click GPC icon Don C. -WV----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Locke" <novardave@hotmail.com>

I have been enjoying the forum. I have been looking on most of the suggestedsites, and am still not quite sure of the best way to proceed. My first question, when I buy seeds do I need different ones to polinate? What advantages do I recieve from the specific nutrient/ fertilizer packagesoffered? Are sites available specifis to someone in Ontario?
