Jabba awakes !!!!

Son of Jabba has risen and has been planted in Kawerau in the North
Island volcanic plateau just outside Rotorua.

Tracey Wilson - a late contender from the fair province of Kawerau and
organiser elect for another branch of PONZ next year has germinated a
seed from Jabba (Thanks Chris). Watch out Aussies - although it is late,
the volcanic plateau is centrally heated and has soil like you dream
about.

El Presidento's pumpkins in Stoney River, are flowering well and the
first female may be open for pollination tomorrow. No such luck here
though - all males so far.

Janis Schole - do you want Tracey's address for your Cousin's trip in a
few weeks? They will not be far away at all and Tracey is as keen as
mustard with this pumpkin growing lark.

Keep it in the compost.
John in NZ.

Have a 'Parky' day!
